Attitude: Cause and Effect

Attitude 1

We’ve all have heard the saying, “First Impressions Count”. This is a very true statement when it comes to life and in business. In whatever area you move in, there are a number of people, customers, clients, and so on that we come in contact with on a daily basis. It is through these interactions with others that help build lasting relationships. These moments can be either good or bad. Why do I say that? Every relationship has a cause and an effect. One distinctive trait in this is simply known as ATTITUDE. Attitude is the third ingredient of our individual make-up. It is defined as a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior. Your behavior is based on the emotional response/reaction to a person or situation. This behavior is really your attitude toward whatever presents itself. Depending on what happens usually there are others around who are witnesses to the situation. Most of the time it’s not what’s happening that they are noticing but watching how you handle it. For this very reason, this is why you either gain or lose friends, clients, customers, profits, and so many other things in life or in business. It is very important that every now and again we do a personal attitude check. “Your brand. Your identity. Your uniqueness.”
